THE CLIENT

Founded by TV producer and host, Kylie Jaye, Big Red Frog was a brand-led media company dedicated to the development of health and lifestyle products. With an expertise in branding, publishing, licensing and distribution, Big Red Frog created the YOGA TV™, Pilates TV™, Fast and Fabulous™ television series and related retail products.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Yoga TV™ was launched in 2002, just as Yoga was starting to enter mainstream consciousness. Initially aired on the Ten Network and Lifestyle Channel in Australia, the 130-episode program has subsequently screened on air in New Zealand, the United Kingdom, United States, Israel and Turkey.

MY ROLE

As the Host of Yoga TV™ my role in the project included:

Writing and hosting 130 episodes of the 30-minute program
On-screen presentation for sponsor advertorials (Woolworths and Burgen)
Writing content for the Yoga TV™ website
Media interviews, photo shoots and other public appearances
Working with the online editor to ensure accuracy of super titles
Responding to enquiries from Yoga TV™ fans and viewers
Co-authoring the accompanying book to the series: ‘Strike a Pose – Yoga for Switched on Living’ – Kris McIntyre & Kylie Jaye (‪Pan Macmillan Australia Pty, Limited, 2002)

Following the success of Yoga TV™, I also subsequently hosted the 2-disc DVD series and accompanying handbook, Team Unity Fitness Yoga, for Big Red Frog in conjunction with Hong Kong-based Kannex Entertainment.

Unfortunately, YOGA TV™ and Team Unity Fitness DVDs are no longer available, but you can be lucky enough to find second-hand copies on eBay or through a Google search.
